TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR IN-STORE PURCHASE
 
Exchanges: 30 days (following date of purchase for in-store purchases or delivery date for online purchases) Returns: 15 days (following date of purchase for in-store purchases or delivery date for online purchases)

Any product or gift card that was given for free with purchase must be returned upon reimbursement. Otherwise, the value of the product or gift card will be deducted from the total of the refund.

Please note that personalized products cannot be exchanged or refunded at any time.

Any car seat or stroller that is not returned in its original unopened packaging will not be refunded for safety reasons.
Items purchased at 70% off, special orders and demo furniture bought during clearance sales are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Items received as Christmas presents can be exchanged in any of our stores by January 4 of the following year. Items must be in perfect conditions, in their original packaging and presented with the original receipt or gift receipt. Gift receipts are available on request when completing your purchase at the register and facilitate exchanges. If you are purchasing an item for someone else, we strongly encourage you to ask for a gift receipt.
We offer a price adjustment if an item has been marked down within 15 days following your purchase. You can obtain a price adjustment in any of our stores, as long as the item is in perfect condition, in its original packaging and presented with the original receipt or gift receipt. Clément Ltd. reserves the right to exclude certain items from this policy, such as items sold at 30% to 50% off or more. If you have any questions about your purchase and would like to know if you are eligible to a price adjustment, please contact our customer service line at 1-888-997-4789.

*These privilege discounts are only applied on regular priced merchandise. They are valid for a period of two years only and cannot be combined to other offers, rebates or promotions. In case of a conflict between two offers, the most advantageous offer for the customer will have precedence. 

In order to benefit from these preferential discounts, parents must provide their contact information and a legal birth document (i.e. medical insurance card number) in one of our stores or email a copy to info@clement.qc.ca. In the event parents are shopping prior to the birth of the infants, an ultrasound scan identified by a doctor and dated will suffice. 

The preferential discounts will automatically be applied at the register by using the phone number provided for the initial registration. Discounts are solely for the use of the twin's or triplet's parents. Any violation of this policy could result in the revocation of this privilege, without a possibility to reactivate. Clément Ltd. reserves the right to refuse this discount at anytime if there appears to be an abuse of this preceding policy. 


All promotions, wether in-store or online, cannot be combined to other promotions providing additional discounts. Promos of the "2 for $X" type will only work within the same category of products. As an example, if both a decorative pillow and a t-shirt are labelled 2 for $25, they cannot be combined together, but only with a respective t-shirt or decorative pillow.  Even though two products of different categories are labeled at the same "2 for $X", it does not mean they can be combined.

If a product is sold individually, but is part of a "2 for $X" deal, it will be charged at its regular price marked on the tag. 

 In the event two products are purchased in a "2 for $X" deal, but only one item is returned, the entire transaction will be cancelled and the item will be charged as if purchased individually.   
Any defect that would have been caused by the manufacturer on a snowsuit purchased at any of our Clément stores or on www.clement.ca is covered for the duration of one season. Only defects caused by the manufacturer are covered by this warranty and Clément Ltd. reserves the right to cancel this policy at all times if it determine that the defect wasn’t the manufacturer’s fault. No refunds will be issued for past season's snowsuits.

Furniture delivery
Clement offers delivery for $95, as long as the delivery destination is within 20 km of one of our stores. If the destination is farther than 20 km from one of our stores, an additional fee of $3.00/km will be charged. 
 
Furniture assembly
Clément does not offer assembly of South Shore Furniture (Meubles Rive-Sud) or any collection that is sold for assembly at home. Clément does offer a delivery service for the boxes of these furniture items at the rates described above. Client is responsible for the assembly of South Shore Furniture (Meubles Rive-Sud).

The stamps loyalty program ended in January 2016. Full and incomplete stamp cards were accepted until April 1, 2016. Our system can no longer accept them. Clément has the right to verify customer files to justify payment with stamp cards.

The new rewards program "The Chouchous" began in February 2016. Rewards equivalent to 2% of all your purchases will be issued several times a year. EGift cards redeemable online and in-store will be sent when the minimum reward amount of $10.00 is reached during the reference period. 

  
Clément offers the possibility to finance a furniture purchase of $1500 or more through the Accord D program. Financing offered is of twelve equal payments over a period of 12 months. Accord D payment cannot be combined with other promotions unless specified otherwise. Accord D payment is not available in every store, so be sure to call prior if you intend to use this service.

 
Upon presentation of its band number, a native can claim a tax exemption for a purchase or order delivered on a First Nation reserve.
 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE PURCHASE
 
Products available on clement.ca are those we hold in inventory in exception of "online only" products. Products displayed on clement.ca may not be available in all of our stores. Please use our "SEE IN-STORE AVAILABILITY" tool in every product page to see which stores hold the desired item. We ask that you please call before your visit to ensure that the product is truly available, in good condition, and so we can put it on hold for a few hours.
 
Since our website updates its inventory once a day, it’s possible, while unlikely, that we could experience a shortage of a certain item in periods of high sales volume. This could lead to us not being able to fulfill your order. Clément Ltd. cannot be held responsible in this event. However, we will contact our customers as soon as possible in order to discuss possible alternatives or emit a full refund.     

Due to limited inventory, when our most popular brands go on sale, we suggest you do not wait too long to complete your transaction. Once the item does not appear on the website anymore, it will not be possible to order it online and will most likely not come back if it is a clothing item. Sales and clearance items cannot be transferred from one store to the other, so we suggest you simply buy it online and have it delivered at your favourite store. You know what they say: "early bird catches the worm"!
 
Items identified “online only” are special order items that Clément does not carry in inventory. These items have special shipping terms and delivery may take up to 1-4 weeks.  They may be shipped directly from the manufacturer in separate shipments and with a different carrier than our preferred Canada Post. These items are usually not available in any of our stores for display, and as we choose not to carry these items, they cannot be refunded or exchanged unless specified otherwise. These items may not be available for in-store pick up or express shipping.

Cancelling an order
It is possible to cancel an order if it has not departed the processing centre. Once it has been picked up by our carriers, it is impossible for us to retrieve the package and solely the client will be able to return the articles according to the instructions specified on our Return items page. In the event you would like to cancel your order, please contact us promptly and we will determine if the package has already left our facilities. Outside of hours: achatweb@clement.qc.ca. or within hours of operation: 1 888 997-4789.    

Modifying an order
It is unfortunately not possible for us to make any changes to orders such as a change of color or size. It is although possible to cancel one or more items. If the client desires a replacement product, it is its responsibility to place a new separate order for that item and pay the applicable delivery fees. We accept the following means of payment:

It is possible to pay online by using one or more Clément gift cards. You must have the card in-hand and enter the card number and the CVC number (uncover it by scratching the gray area located on the back of the card).
We will only process orders that can be delivered via ground shipping.   

Clément Ltd. reserves the right to refuse to process any transaction for which the shipping fees charged are largely inferior to the actual fees. In that event, Clément will contact the customers to discuss the possibilities and alternatives or will simply proceed to a full refund. 

Shipping fees are established according to the volume, mass, number of articles and/or order total. 

A $7.00 flat rate shipping fee applies to clothing-only orders.  

Clément Ltd. is not liable to join two orders for the same client; it is the clients’ responsibility to combine their orders to reduce the shipping fees.  

Orders will be delivered to the address indicated on the order confirmation. Delivery usually occurs within 5 to 7 business days following the placement of the order. Clément Ltd. cannot guarantee this shipping time frame and is not liable for any errors or extended delays regarding the shipping by a third party (i.e. the carrier).      

Clément is proud to offer a free in-store pick up service. When completing their purchase, clients can choose a specific store where they would like to pick up their order. Even though clients can select any store, it does not mean that the merchandise is available there. It means that we will ensure the order is complete and ready for pick up in a delay of 5 to 10 business days. 

Please wait until you have received a confirmation e-mail indicating that your order is ready before coming to pick up your order.

After the e-mail has been sent, orders will be held in the selected store for a maximum of one month starting from the date when an email was sent. After this one-month period has passed, the merchandise will be released back on the store floor and the customer will be credited in full. Credit may take 7 to 10 business days to appear on your credit card account.

Please note that your invoice and a piece of identification will be required at the time of pick up.
